Last updated: 05/25/2026
Welcome to Duskdoor (“Duskdoor”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) explain the rules for using Duskdoor, including our website, app, game, accounts, saved adventures, credits, and related services.
By accessing or using Duskdoor, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Duskdoor.
1. About Duskdoor
Duskdoor is an interactive AI-powered adventure game where players create or continue story-based adventures by making choices, selecting preset actions, or entering custom actions.
The game uses artificial intelligence to generate story content. Because the content is AI-generated, each adventure may be different, unpredictable, or occasionally imperfect.
Duskdoor is for entertainment purposes only. It is not professional advice, education, therapy, legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, or safety advice.
2. Who can use Duskdoor
You may use Duskdoor if you are legally allowed to use online services in your location.

Some features may require you to create an account or sign in.
You are responsible for:
- keeping your login details secure
- all activity that happens through your account
- providing accurate account information
- telling us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission
We may suspend, limit, or close accounts that breach these Terms, misuse the service, attempt to bypass limits, abuse the system, or create risk for Duskdoor or other users.

Duskdoor may let you enter custom actions, feedback, names, prompts, or other text.
You agree not to submit content that:

- attempts to hack, manipulate, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or abuse Duskdoor
- attempts to bypass safety systems, rate limits, access limits, payment systems, or usage restrictions
We may block, reject, remove, limit, or moderate content or activity where we believe it breaches these Terms, creates risk, or may cause legal, technical, safety, or abuse issues.
5. AI-generated content
Duskdoor uses AI systems to generate story scenes, choices, titles, summaries, and other gameplay content.
AI-generated content may sometimes:
- be inaccurate
- be unexpected
- repeat itself
- misunderstand your input
- produce inconsistent story details
- fail to generate properly
- contain errors or content that does not reflect our views
We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will always be accurate, suitable, available, unique, or error-free.
You are responsible for how you use or interpret AI-generated content.
6. Safety and acceptable use
Duskdoor is designed as an entertainment experience. You must not use it for real-world harmful instructions, unlawful activity, harassment, exploitation, or abuse.
You must not attempt to:

7. Saved adventures
Duskdoor may allow users to save and continue adventures.
Saved adventures may include information such as your adventure title, current scene, current choices, recent events, story summary, turn number, genre, role, story style, and related gameplay data.
We will try to keep saved adventures available, but we do not guarantee that saved adventures will always be preserved, recoverable, or error-free.
We may limit, remove, expire, or reset saved adventures where needed for technical, security, product, beta testing, account, storage, or abuse-prevention reasons.
8. Beta features and changes
Duskdoor may include beta, experimental, or early-access features.
Beta features may change, break, be removed, reset, or become unavailable at any time.
We may update, improve, remove, pause, or replace parts of Duskdoor without notice, including gameplay systems, limits, pricing, credits, account features, save slots, analytics, feedback tools, AI models, and available story features.
9. Credits, subscriptions, and paid features
Duskdoor may later offer paid credits, subscriptions, or other paid features.

We will provide any required payment, refund, credit, or cancellation information at or before the time of purchase.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Refunds
If paid features are introduced, refund rules will be explained in the relevant payment or credits policy.
Any refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable law, including any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law or other consumer protection laws that apply to you.
11. Ownership and licence

This licence is worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and lasts for as long as needed to provide, improve, protect, and operate Duskdoor.
13. Feedback
If you submit feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or feature requests, you agree that we may use them to improve Duskdoor without owing payment, credit, or obligation to you.
14. Third-party services
Duskdoor may rely on third-party services for hosting, database storage, authentication, AI generation, analytics, payments, email, security, or other technical functions.
We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control, but we aim to use reputable providers where possible.
Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Where we are legally allowed to limit our liability, our liability will be limited to supplying the service again or the amount you paid for the affected service, where applicable.
